Album Cover

This album cover is something I designed for a school assignment, in which we had to show multiple techniques. One of the requirements was using texture, which I decided to add by making the background of my album cover out of layers of tissue. I glued these onto my paper, and when they dried I painted over it using acrylic paint. I tried to make it look like some kind of gory meat-like texture.

As for the logo, I first sketched it out onto white paper. Using a small knife, I cut my logo out of the paper. Afterwards, I painted over this logo using black paint.

Once the background and logo dried, i glued them together to create my final album cover. The logo was inspired by various metal album logo's, and is intentionally barely readable. The text says "Phasecho", which is the username I go by online.
