Everskies is a free to play dress-up game. Users can communicate through forums, where they are represented by their in-game avatar. These avatars are made up of different items, which players can buy with in-game currency.
These items are called "designs" within the community, designs can either be an item or a set. Sets are a bundle of multiple clothing items, which usually come in different color variations. When an user buys a full set, they receive all items within this set.
Designs are made on a 221px by 340px canvas, using two base bodies. All designs are required to fit both these bodies, a minus size and plus size version of items are sometimes needed. Skin items need to have variations to work on all 6 base tones.
Designs are made by freelance artists, to become an artist on everskies you need to pay a small fee of in-game currency. After this, you can send your designs in for review. If your design gets accepted, it can be sold in the shop, get used in a competition, or another official event. When designs are uploaded to the shop, the creator of this design will earn a percentage of the sales. The premium currency that can be earned, can then be cashed out. This way designers can earn money.
I've been creating designs for Everskies since 2021. As of June 2024, I have created over 80 different sets, which each consist of 10-25 items. (Not all of these are snown on this portfolio, I have only uploaded a few of my more recent sets.) Multiple of my sets have been used for official events. During my most active months designing for everskies I was one of the top earning creators. Over this time I have gained nearly 20 thousands subscribers on my personal blog on everskies.
I have helped review other designer's sets, which is something a creator gets permissions for after reaching a certain number of creations and monthly sales. I work together with other creators to analyze consumer data and come up with projects from the aquired information.
