Infected Hare Jacket

The back of this jacket I thrifted looked pretty boring, so I decided to add a large hand-painted back patch.On this patch, is a depiction of a hare with some kind of infection that's causing it to decay while being alive. This is something I first came up with for a school assignment, in which I had to create a cover for a book. I came up with a fictional infection, and what it would look like on this animal.

To create this back patch, I traced my traditional drawing. I increased the contrast of this, and opened it on my Ipad. I laid the fabric over it, and traced my drawing with a white posca pen. After creating this sketch, I went over it with white fabric paint to increase the width of the lines, and add more detail. I did this using a small paintbrush.
